Just received the LG and am blown away by the picture quality, even with SD channels! The TV has all I need for my purposes, The TV's sound quality is pretty good although I have mine hooked up to a BOSE surround system - no problem with the audio jacks on the rear.
The set looks good, although a bit wobbly on supplied stand but I will be wall mounting mine soon so no problem - LG recommend screwing it down, I certainly would if you have small kids (or a clumsy big one!).
Looking forward to trying it out with Blue Ray - when I get the missus to let me buy one!
Finally, Amazon service, as usual, wonderfull - delivered next day and price was the best I could find online.

TV arrived in a week, and was pretty easy to set up. The picture quality and size is perfect for what i need (42-inch, general everyday use), and I am very happy with this TV. I looked around quite a lot, and of course, there are TV's that are better in picture quality (smart TV), but they are also much more expensive. For the price, this TV is worth every penny. Looks slick, and even on a stand (rather than wall mounted), it takes up minimal space. Very happy!!

This TV is amazing it was everything I wanted and the pictures didn't do it justice as it was even better when it arrived. Picture quality is superb for everything (I mostly use it for gaming and its epic.) I highly recommend this television and at this price its an absolute steal. Overall BUY BUY BUY!
