Really good picture quality (back-lit), I am very happy with it and the DVD works well with clear picture. Sound is what you would expect on a 19" TV; I think it's fine. You wouldn't be using it in a huge room.

The problem I have with the TV is the truly awful EPG. It seems a bit mean to mention it when the picture is so good, but I am finding it extremely irritating! When you press the EPG button all sound and picture is switched off and you search in total silence against a black screen - this may be normal for small TV's, I don't know. I am used to having the current programme continue in a small frame at top of the screen so you can following it while you search for the next programme or some thing to watch later. Now if I am working in the kitchen, I must wait for the adverts before searching EPG, but then there is no way of knowing when the adverts have finished without quickly flicking back. TV is OK but the 'Sale' page stated "cistomers who bought this also bought the Cantilever LCD Monitor TV Arm Bracket Wall Mount with Swivel and Tilt". So I did. The bracket DOES NOT FIT THE TV!! Tried returning it but got into a conflict of opinions so finished up hacksawing the bracket to make it fit.

Electraweld who supplied the bracket were highly uncoperative.

The picture quality is excellent. the sound is not brilliant but has adjustment and is as a small tv with small speakers is to be expected. The DVD is rather noisy when it spins the disc up though which is dissapointing

I did a lot of research before buying this TV, It arrived two days after ordering from Amazon. I found it easy to set up, it found my internet connection quickly,and via a new HDMI lead it found my Sky and Sony HD recorder. As with all thin TVs the sound is not good, speakers need to move air, and there is no room for good speakers in the cabinet. I bought a Sony surround system which is fantastic. As with all Sony gear the add ons are expensive The 3D spec's are around �50-00. I am 69 years old, and I hope to live many years longer to enjoy the �1500-00 I have just spent. Alan.

The picture is awesome, it's really easy to set up and connect to the internet and the 3D picture is excellent. Certainly no headaches here.

Considering 90% of what you watch will be in 2D rather than 3D, it's the original picture that is most important and it is really clear and precise. With four HDMI slots everything connected to it, be it Sky, Blu-ray or games consoles, will have the clearest picture possible.

I can't recommend this television highly enough, it really is like being at your own personal cinema.

This 40 inch widescreen TV displays a nice clear image and is great for watching movies in their original format widescreen format. That's especially the case for 3D movies which I use 2 Sony 3D glasses ( Sony TDGBR250 Rechargeable 3D Glasses and Sony Active Shutter 3D Glasses).
The manual is rather thin and is only a `get started' guide which helps you get set up with the basics like fixing the stand etc but there is a digital guide built in to the TV that can be accessed anytime with the remote control though.

Bought this TV for it,s streaming, LED Technology and USB HDD Recording ability's. all of which work very well.

After trying Samsung for streaming and support both of which were rubbish I wasn't left with a lot of choice of devices which have an app for streaming from Lovefilm (only Sony and Samsung TV products have Lovefilm apps)

First of all I tried the Sony KDL 32EX523 LED TV but in spite of the manual saying it had USB HDD Recording it didn't actually have it, plus the picture was very dull, so I packed it back up for return within the hour.

Then I studied for quite a time before I decided to buy this particular TV, especially since I found the picture so dull on the first Sony LED TV however I decided to take a chance and at first I thought that I had slipped up as the picture was again very dull, I couldn't be bothered to pack it up that day and decided to watch it for the evening and pack it up the following day, but on the following day I... Great T.V and the 3D is good, when reading the reviews look at the screen size's commented on, the larger screens are a lot better for 3D content as you need to be with in a certain distance of the screen, measure the distance you sit away from the screen before picking a size, my viewing distance from this set is 6 and half feet and the 3D is very good.it's no good getting a small screen and sitting at this distance as the 3D will look bad.
This is a great product for the price and I would highly recomend it.

Update: I have since watched several 3D films and can say they really good apart from a couple of titles. Avoid My bloody Valentine as the 3D is really bad and Lionsgate are aware of it. Also Preist and Up, and the deadly hallows part 1 are pretty flat 3D.
Best titles so far are that I've watched : Avatar, Alice in wonderland, Resident Evil afterlife ,Final Destination 4 and 5, Ice Age, The three musketeers.
